Why Marriage Fails.

Long story short, marriages fail because of unrealistic expectations and disappointment when we are disillusioned our fairy tale.  This problem has only existed for less than 200 years.  It is a byproduct of Civilization and the ease of survival.  In Ancient History and in Judeo-Christianity, marriage was a business contract, before that it was a property contract.  It wasn't meant to be fun and whimsy it was meant to be work, each person had rights and responsibilities.  "Love" was never part of it.  

Serious marriages were arranged by a matchmaker who was a kind of Psychologist who profiled men and women decided who was compatible with whom.  What is "love" anyway?  In ancient Greece there were 4 terms for love, each with a specific meaning.  What does love mean today?  There is no definition of "Love" which makes the term meaningless, arbitrary, and vague.  Marriage is about Love and Love is about Feelings, that means that the woman is the sole judge of the state of the relationship based on nothing but her Emotions.  

Marriage was a necessary function in order to procreate.  Infatuation is for hookers, whores, and eunuchs.  Under the Abrahamic Law Covenant there was no condemnation of fornicating with prostitutes.  In Ancient Greece you had your family and your wife but you taught your philosophy to a young boy who you also had sex with.  

Man and Wife didn't Love each other at the beginning, they respected each other and they strove together.  After many years that respect turned into genuine affection as they looked back over their many successes and sacrifices.  

The story of the Garden of Eden is about the original sin caused by fickleness in in heart of the woman.  That desire in her that wants a life of ease.  Rights without Responsibilities.  Rewards without Contribution.  Honor without Sacrifice.  The Story of Adam and Eve actually comes from the Ramayana.  Rama and Sita are the Hindu Adam and Eve. Sita saw a beautiful deer and desired it.  She sent her husband and his brother to fetch it for her.  While they were engaged in this useless effort for the whim of the woman, Ramana the blue-skinned demon with 10 heads (the Lernean Hydra or the Dragon of Revelation) kidnapped her and took her to another Dimension.  

This Fickleness isn't just a feminine problem anymore.  Men have been feminized by society for the past 100 years.  They too now are incapable of focusing on the purpose of a relationship, they also get distracted.

The Human vs. Animal dichotomy.

In a book called “General History of the Things of New Spain” written by Fray Bernandino de Sahagun, he describes pots of stew with corn and pieces of human flesh being eaten on special occasions. The human meat came from the sacrificed people, who’s hearts were ripped out and offered to the gods, their bodies were chopped up and cooked in the pozole . After the Spanish arrived they banned cannibalism and pork became the meat used in pozole. Wait it gets even weirder, you’re probably wondering how but it does. Apparently pork was the meat of choice because “it tasted very similar” to human flesh. This bit of history is probably something most of us Mexicans want to forget or ignore, so let’s move on.
